At Capital Hoist and Crane. We have been providing expert services to our clients through our staff of highly trained and skilled maintenance professionals.
Our commitment to providing outstanding service is what sets us apart from the competition. We install and maintain crane systems, hoists, monorails, turntables, and much more. After installation, we provide routine inspections and keep you compliant with OSHA safety requirements making sure you stay up and running as well as provide training and even offer classes that will ensure the safe and proper use of your equipment. We keep a full inventory of rigging products in-house and are able to build custom slings for any special projects you may have. All of our employees are fully trained and qualified to offer you the best experience possible, which is why our customers return to us for all of their crane needs.
We focus on continuous training of our employees for safety and accuracy and require that all of our employees go through a background check and a drug screening as part of our hiring process and commitment to safety.
We are a service-disabled veteran-owned business with having locations in Kentucky and Louisiana, and with extensive experience in inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of overhead cranes ranging from small ½-ton hoists to high-capacity cranes, and we repair and inspect multiple styles of cranes and railroad equipment but not limited to gantry cranes, single and double girder bridge cranes, jibs and monorail cranes, drop tables, portable and stationary rail jacks as well as below the hook lifting devices and rigging products like chains, synthetic and wire rope slings, spreader bars, lifting clamps and lifting beams.
We complete all inspections and abide by OSHA’s standards for periodic testing based on our customers’ needs. In addition to inspection and preventive maintenance, we can also conduct load tests on all lifting devices. We provide all customers with a written report detailing the findings including all deficiencies and recommendations for enhanced productivity.
Our company’s President and owner, Matthew Edgett has over 19 years of experience in the industrial crane business and has exceptional knowledge of every type of overhead and industrial crane in the US today. He offers and hosts complete training courses that include hands-on and classroom training for up to 30 people per session. In addition to these courses, he can offer custom-tailored courses to our customers covering safety procedures, pre, and post-operation checks, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and proper lifting techniques along with qualified below-the-hook lifting device inspection and user inspection training to help ensure that the end-users are fully aware of safe practices and what to look for prior to operating any lifting devices. At the conclusion of training, a certificate of completion will be given as well as a copy of all training materials will be available. A digital copy of all training material can be provided upon request.
